Est. 1980 — Lux Bébé Son, Tunisie
Belle maille.
The name is French for beautiful stitch. Belmail was born inside one of Tunisia's most enduring textile manufactures — and never left.

In 1980, Sadok Nouira founded Lux Bébé Son — a tricotage manufacture that would grow into one of Tunisia's most respected in the textile industry. Over the decades, Lux Bébé Son worked alongside brands from across the world, including international names like Levi's, building a reputation for precision and quality that the local market had rarely seen at that scale.
Belmail was born from within that same manufacture. Where Lux Bébé Son served wholesale, Belmail was the name given to the pieces meant to last — crafted with the same hands, the same looms, the same obsession with the stitch.
Trophy Grand Prix International to the Quality — 1993
Awarded to Sté Lux Bébé Son in Madrid by EDICOIN, in recognition of its international prestige and commercial quality. One of the highest honours granted to a Tunisian manufacture at that time.

We grew up in textile. Since 1980.Belmail — Tunis, Tunisie
The manufacture is still running. The looms are still working. And now, the name Belmail moves online — not to chase trends, but to offer what it has always offered: pieces built to outlast the season they arrive in.
Oussama Nouira, grandson of Sadok Nouira, carries the name forward. Belmail is not a reinvention. It is a continuation — from the stitch up.

Tricotage craft
Every piece is knit. That is the foundation of what 'belle maille' has always meant.
